TRAINING DESIGN SERVICES

Utilizing the ASTD Human Performance Improvement Model of instructional design, Training Design Plus develops creative, low-cost in-house training programs that tap into the resources and expertise found within your organization.

When do organizations use our services?

When there are no training professionals on-site

If you do not have full-time training staff on-site, you can take advantage of the Training Design Plus design services to start formalizing your company's training programs.  Combining the knowledge of your organization's subject experts and our instructional design expertise and knowledge of adult learning theory creates a partnership that produces high quality and cost effective training strategies.

When there are projects the internal training staff can't get to

Organizations that do have full-time training staff sometimes find that the workload is very heavy and, as a result, some projects end up sitting on a shelf.  If this is the dilemma you face, consider bringing Training Design Plus on board as an extra pair of hands to get those additional training projects rolling.

What are the deliverables for our
training design services?

Training Needs Report

A training needs analysis will be completed, and a Training Needs Report with a review of performance gaps and root causes will be submitted for each project.  This thorough report will answer the question of why training is the right solution (or not the right solution), who should be involved in the learning/training process, and what knowledge and/or skills should be learned.  This report will also list those factors found within the organization that will support the success of a new training program, as well as those factors that may hinder the success of a new training program.

Training Design Plan

Training design recommendations will be submitted and reviewed by the client in a systematic fashion to ensure that all logistics related to the project are covered.  A final Training Design Plan will be completed and approved prior to the development of the training materials and tools.  This detailed plan will answer the logistical questions of where, when and how the training will be implemented.

Training Materials and Tools

All learning objectives, lesson plans, training materials, and evaluation tools are created in this phase of the instructional design process.  Clients receive one electronic copy of all documents and all original versions of other types of training aids developed for the project.
